Rosanna Crash had been working in the fashion world for over ten years, traveling the globe and working with amazing photographers and directors when she transitioned into casting in the early 90s.
She felt the need to bring the beauty of authentic people into commercials: People from all walks of life, real families, mixed ethnic couples…
At a time when commercial film was not quite ready to take risks, she discovered new and exciting faces in the streets, in bars and restaurants, even on a soccer field.
“I love the faces of real people, telling the story of real lives”, she explains her approach. After casting over 1000 commercials, she feels that things are finally starting to turn.
"My job has always been to find the perfect talent to bring a commercial to life. Sometimes, it’s someone who’s never acted before, but I know they’re right as soon as I see them. Talent is everywhere—you just have to open your eyes!"
Finding the right person where no one else is looking. It’s a talent. And a gift.
It’s what sets Crashcasting apart.
